I am not an animal! I am a sculpture! I...am...a Mad Geppetto Creation!

Mr. John Merrick stands 14.5" tall. He is dressed in fine German wool and is mostly hand stitched. His cape is fleece with a hook closure. He has a removeable hat/hood and a mit on one hand. He also has two removeable foot coverings, and a cape.

The head, hands and feet are resin, and resin platelets are present on the doll's back , arm, and legs to approximate the skeletal deformity under the clothing. The clothes, excepting the cape and "deformity coverings" are Not removable. Like the real man upon which this sculpture is based the figure's arms have limited poseability in his snug fitting Victorian clothing.
